This last Sunday the Lord gave me a message for the body. It was about eating at the right table. I’ll go over some points of it. But to quote it totally will not happen today. Simply put, I said it rather quickly after receiving it. When this happens I don’t quite remember exactly how it is worded. I did what I could to recall it, but it is not complete. What I did remember I’ll talk about.
It did start out by saying the deliverance is at hand. The Lord said that He will break the binds, break the yoke and smash the chains. This alone gives us the hope of His true freedom and victory. There is no other authority that has His power, grace and strength to get this done. No other name but Jesus. To go further we have read the stories of Jesus setting people free from demons and the like. Matt. 8:28-34 is the story of the demons into a herd of pigs. Mark 9:14-29 is the story of a demon possessed boy. But demons aren’t the only things that take hold of a person. It could be stealing, cheating, adultery, pornography as well as depression, worry, fear and others.Try as we may to do it ourselves. We just can’t do it by ourselves. We need help and Jesus is the answer. Phil. 4:13 says that “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
After that the Lord said that some of us are eating at the wrong table. We are to walk away from it and go back to His table. The table with the living water. Eating of the loaf of bread. John 6:35-40 tells us this from the words of our Lord Himself. When we listen to the world and all of its ways, we are eating from the wrong table. Saying that God’s word and truths aren’t for us. They’re not for today. They’re old and don’t apply today. What a load of garbage that is. God’s word and truths are for today and tomorrow. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Lets spend our time at his table. By reading His word. Taking the time to pray ( have a conversation) with Him. Spending time in His presence. Being among the body (church) and having fellowship. Lets build each other up and encourage one another. Let’s eat at the table thats best for us.The table Jesus has set up personally.
Be blessed, Ken
